Location: Abbotsford, BC
35 hours per week for 12 weeks

You will primarily contribute your creative skills to Bethesda’s communications and marketing team located at our Provincial Office in Abbotsford. Depending on your experience and interests, you will be responsible for creating videos and various other communication-related assignments. This position is part of the Canada Summer Jobs program and offers a 12-week opportunity from June 2 to August 22, 2025, set at 35 hours per week.
Eligible applicants must be between 19 and 30 years of age at the start of employment.

Job Duties and Assignments
- All aspects of creating long and short videos, including video planning, script writing, filming, editing.
- Create content, graphics and write captions for social media.
- Assistance with various other communications tasks.
Skills and Requirements
- Video creation experience using video production software, e.g., Premiere Pro or equivalent.
- Familiarity with Windows Office, Photoshop or equivalent photo-editing software.
- Proficiency with social media content: reels, posts, stories.
- Possession of Canadian, landed immigrant or legal working status.
- Standard requirements for the position and for interacting with people with diverse abilities, (criminal record check, medical clearance, immunization history).
- Personal values in line with Bethesda’s Christian foundations and Guiding Principles.
