Contracted Respite Opportunity, Chilliwack, BC

Bethesda’s mission is to support people with disabilities and their families with the attitude and motivation like that of the Good Samaritan.  Primarily, Bethesda supports individuals who have intellectual disabilities.  Bethesda’s ministry is a Christian faith-based service.

Respite Services are for eligible applicants who are living with or providing full-time care to family members or loved ones with disabilities. We do this to assist caregivers in achieving temporary, restorative time off to maintain balance and help reduce stress in their lives.

Bethesda is seeking a loving Christian home in the Chilliwack area to provide contracted respite care (approx. 8 hrs/week) to an outgoing, compassionate and verbal female in her 20’s. A home without children would be preferred due to high medical needs.  Some hobbies that she enjoys are, riding her bike, going for walks, being around animals, and listening to audio books on her iPad.

For more information or to request an application package, please contact Karis or Rod at 604-850-6604 or life@bethesdabc.com.
